Melissa Rotary provided flags and members attended and presented at the April 30 Homes for Heroes home gifting in the Liberty subdivision on MacArther off of Hunters Run. Melissa Rotary members provided flags, joined the supporting crowd, and Rotarian and Melissa City Councilwoman Shannon Sweat made a presentation in support of a beautiful home gifting ceremony in Melissa, Texas on April 31.
U.S. Army Sergeant William DeWalt and his family received the keys to their beautiful, mortgage-free forever home, courtesy of many local donors, and coordinated through the national, New York - based, Homes for Heroes organization.
