Melissa Rotary Club
Week of July 5th

Volume 2021 | Issue 21

Service Project this Week, July 8th
This Thursday we will be performing a Service Project for the Melissa Public Library. We will gather at 7:30 at the City Hall building and meet up with Jennifer Nehls who will show us what she needs.  We will be moving items from a storage room to make way for electricians who will be adding power and wiring for a new study and work area that the Library will be opening later this year. Bring your strong backs and work gloves so we can make way for the electrical work. Bring a friend to help.
Announcements
On July 15th we will be back at the ISD building for a normal meeting. We will be hearing from Kelly Majdan. With over 25 years in the financial services industry Kelly has been recognized as an industry leader providing a holistic approach to retirement plan management, fiduciary oversight, as well as participant education and financial coaching. On the personal side, after a few health challenges she worked diligently to improve her health and the health of their family. This lead her to pursue a health coaching certification so she can help others overcome the beliefs that hold them back from a future of wellness, longevity, and financial security. This background provides the foundation for the development of the Wellness Benefit Program Assessment, a scientifically based approach that helps organizations invest their wellness dollars more effectively. Kelly founded Razem Ventures, LLC in 2020 to bring together this focus on personal health and finances through individual coaching and organizational wellness program consulting.

Last week's actions
Last week we did not meet in person but used our time to place flags out for the Fourth of July weekend. The big news is that we have sold over 1,000 flags this year. Great work everyone, especially Dana and the Flag Captains.

Save the date. August 4th a Wednesday, we will be gathering at the Meals on Wheels facility to put together Breakfast bags. It will be a 1:00 start time and we will skip the Thursday meeting the next day.
