Our speaker on March 11th will be 
Marjorie Herrera Lewis. Marjorie is an award-winning sportswriter, named the first female Dallas Cowboys beat writer when she was with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. She later joined the SportsDay staff of The Dallas Morning News where she continued to cover the NFL and college football. She is currently a contributing national college football analyst for WBM radio. Her debut novel, When the Men Were Gone, was named a Best Book by Sports Illustrated and was named Best Historical Fiction by the American Book Fest. The novel also won the Pencraft Award for Literary Excellence. While writing When the Men Were Gone, Marjorie became inspired to try her hand at coaching football herself and was added to the Texas Wesleyan University football coaching staff in December 2016. Marjorie has degrees from Arizona State University, The University of Texas in Arlington, Southern New Hampshire University, and certificates from Southern Methodist University, and Cornell University. She is married and has two grown daughters and one son-in-law.

Announcements
Our speaker on Feb 18th will be Christina Pinckney. Christina is the Interact Coordinator for the Melissa High School. Christina sponsors the Interact club at the High School working with over 50 Interact Students. She will be providing an update on the Club and their activities.
Christina attended Prosper High School and has taught at North Mesquite High School.
 
We will also have one of our RYLA participants sharing about their experience with Virtual RYLA.
Last week's actions
Last week we heard from Prudence Mathis the Public Relations and Awareness Director for the David Nicklas Organ Donor Awareness Foundation. The foundation provide support and travel aid to those in need of a Heart or  organ transplant. For more information:
