Come to a free lunch THIS THURSDAY, noon/12pm at the United Methodist Church at 3851 McKinney St, Melissa, TX 75454.
We especially want to invite all of our contractors who work in this program, as well as those who lead other Melissa programs and organizations.
The Flag Lease Program is Melissa Rotary Club's annual fundraiser, providing money for our local youth contractors, Melissa High School student scholarships, community service projects, and international projects.
Council Member and Rotarian Dana Conklin will speak to us about this Melissa Rotary Flag Lease program. Dana has been the lead for this project for several years and will share her experiences, what's going on behind the scenes and what it takes to ensure all those who lease flags have them installed and recovered on the dates promised.
