Melissa Rotary provided $500 toward the Melissa ISD Transportation award at today's Teacher Awards Convocation. A teacher from every school in Melissa was selected by their peers for these awards, plus awards were given to the overall Melissa ISD Teacher of the Year, along with awards for support groups, such as transportation, technology, security, etc. The multimedia function was a colorful celebration of all these people do for our young people in our schools. Each recipient received the award from the sponsor(s) from the Melissa community.
