On Thursday, January 25th, at 7pm, our "Rotary at Night" community program was for all those interested in global efforts to provide water and sanitation to the impoverished.

Rotarians Pete, (president), and Sharon Crean, (CEO), started Beyond Water in 2007 while they were living in Sydney, Australia. They will speak about their work alleviating poverty across East Africa, giving 240,000 people access every day to safe, clean, drinking water, and sanitation facilities. They will also talk about their leadership program -- The Girl Project.

In 2012 the Creans moved to Nairobi, Kenya, where they have spent the last 11 years building a team of nationals to facilitate the growing work of Beyond Water, in schools, medical clinics, and remote communities. They now have teams in New Zealand, Australia, the US, and Kenya to help fight water poverty.

Join us Thursday, January 25th, at 7pm at the Crossland Learning Center (the red building) at the Melissa ISD headquarters, 1904 Cooper Street, Melissa, TX 75454
